Description
Summary
Pommard, "Les Vignots"
Only 12 bottles, while they last.
- Geography: Located above the hill of Pommard, close to the Arvelets, on the Beaune side with a South exposure.
- Soil and environment: Steep slop. Poor and rocky soil because of the erosion. This plot (characteristic giving its name to this terroir) wasn’t damaged by the Phylloxera at the 19th century: its vines were used to create grafted vine in Cote de Beaune.
- The vine: Blend of 30 and 40 year-old vines.
- The wine: Fresh and mineral with chalky tannins. The period of sunshine helps all the components reach perfect maturity.
